Vision
The vision of InclusiveNISSA’ is to create a future where women in the MENA region are fully empowered social and economic actors who enjoy equal access to and control over financial resources. This future envisions a significant reduction in the gender gap, where women possess the decision-making power and independence to transition from informal to formal employment, thereby ensuring the full respect of their economic and social rights.
Mission
The mission of the program is to reinforce the social and economic role of women in Lebanon, the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco by promoting their financial inclusion. InclusiveNISSA’ achieves this by bridging the gap between the supply and demand sides of finance through the development of gender-sensitive financial tools, tailored capacity building for institutions, and direct support for women entrepreneurs, particularly those in rural and marginalized areas.
Target and Beneficiaries
30 financial institutions: Capacity-building to apply a gender lens and pilot innovative financial tools.
600 women entrepreneurs: Training, networking, pilot actions, and sub-grants to support business start-up and growth.
30 women’s and business support organizations: Strengthened coordination and networking.
15 institutional representatives: Improved integration of gender perspectives in economic policies.
